I created this screen print as a wall hanging for the 2019 Interim Show at Below Bar Studios, Southampton.

It represents the characters within John Steinbeck's novel 'Cannery Row'. In this piece, I have depicted them as Whores, Pimps, Gamblers and Sons of Bitches hardly visible to the human eye lying at the very bottom of the Monterey Rock Pool.

The piece was created by overprinting line work and then digitally enhancing it to produce the metre long wall hanging.

It is printed on canvas type paper and framed by two weathered wooden planks as a reference to its marine connection.
