I entered this image for the

Penguin Book Cover Competition 2019, within the Children's

Fiction section.

The design was a mix of hand-drawn prints and colouring, collage and digital processing. 

​

I was inspired by the book and wanted to retain the innocence

and naivety of the characters so designed the cover as seen through the eyes of a child.

 

I kept the the design and colours unsophisticated as I wanted the cover to convey the simple and straightforward message of

the book.
