I created these party hats as part of my installation 'Doc's Party, Cannery Row' for the 2019 Interim

Exhibition at the Below Bar Studios, Solent University.

The hats were hand crafted using screen printed designs and line work together with articles from news-

papers of the time.  

​

The photograph was taken using a filter to soften the image and the hats were positioned as if they were 

 enjoying themselves during what was historically a time of great hardship.
